A guide to the collections includes brief descriptions, some with links to online materials. The site also features oral history interview transcripts (some in Spanish) and finding aids for some of the collections. Browsable and searchable.

An index to the online exhibits of thousands of artists, searchable by artist's name and browsable by movement, medium, subject of art, nationality of artist, or women artists. Entries include links to museum sites, image archives, and other online resources. The focus is primarily painting and sculpture, but a smattering of other media (architecture and decorative arts, for example) are represented. The site also has archived monthly articles on art, and a museum directory.

The Artists Rights Society originated in France to protect visual artists' copyrights. It now represents over 40,000 artists throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Membership, which is free, provides artists with support for copyright clearance; the ARS also monitors the use and potential abuse of artists' rights. The site provides information on copyright and copyright monitoring and a browsable listing of represented artists.

Although the collection is no longer at the White House, this Web site provides a tour showing the objects in their White House setting.
