Websites presented in alphabetical order Castles of Britain This site provides information on many aspects of castles in Great Britain including how they were built, why they declined, dungeons, weapons for besieging, and more. There are images and ground plans for some, information about what life in a castle was like, as well as, types of jobs available in that time. The Map Room lists the names of castles in Wales, Scotland, England, and Ireland. The Castle Learning Center is provided to "encourage students of all ages to explore castles."
