The site features a chronology of the life and times of James Monroe, images of selected personal objects, information about the 1823 Monroe Doctrine, and related material and links. The museum is owned by the Commonwealth of Virginia and administered by the University of Mary Washington, Fredericksburg, Virginia. Note: Some sections are under construction.
