ATRA is a national organization ("co-founded in 1986 by the American Medical Association and the American Consulting Engineers Counsel") that is "dedicated exclusively to reforming the civil justice system." The site provides publications and data on lawsuit abuse, a list of "judicial hellholes" ("places that have a disproportionately harmful impact on civil litigation"), and information about "looney lawsuits," state civil justice reform laws, and other tort reform topics.
