This site is designed to sell crate labels, but it is also a good resource for browsing and viewing this art form, which adorned agricultural packing crates between the mid-1800s and the 1950s. A table for each type of produce shows the labels with packing house, city, company that printed the labels, and approximate dates used. Includes a brief history on the use of these labels.
