Alcoholics Anonymous invites those whose lives are troubled with alcohol and who seek anonymity while attempting to solve common problems to browse through this easily navigable site for help. Many sections lead to self-examination, such as Is A.A. for You? , Do you think you're different? , A Newcomer Asks… , and A Message to Teenagers and the short quiz for teenagers. Others include The Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and a directory of offices, answering services, and groups in the United States and Canada. The site may be viewed in English, Spanish, or French.

This organization promotes "evidence based harm reduction policies and practices on a global basis for all psychoactive substances (including illicit drugs, tobacco and alcohol)." Its site features collections of about 50 publications on topics such as HIV prevention and care, policing and illicit drugs, and tobacco harm reduction. Also includes news about IHRA activities and events. Some material only available to members.

Provides a fact sheet and a location map for screening event sites, "located in community, college, primary health care, military and employment settings." This is the site of a self-help organization for women alcoholics. It includes online chat groups and a description of the "New Life" Program with its Thirteen Statements of Acceptance. There are also articles by Jean Kirkpatrick (1923-2000), a recovered alcoholic, who began WFS in 1975 after observing the causal differences of alcoholism and methods of recovery in men and women alcoholics.
