A list of links include music available online, newsletters & zines, dance techniques and instruction, and other Cajun, zydeco, and Louisiana sites. An extensive list of bands and artists lead to official and fan sites containing a mix of bios, photos, and touring schedules. A link to the Encyclopedia of Cajun Culture is available. The Journal of Contemporary Obituaries With a light touch, this "opinionated quarterly magazine which chronicles the dead - famous, infamous and non-famous" creatively eulogizes those souls who have departed from this earth (1996-Current). Its author Steve Miller, a former newspaper obituary columnist, wedded his addiction to biographies and his love for obituaries to create a Web 'zine that would not "flatten a life into birth, education, matrimony, children, profession and the like" with traditional obituary statistics, but would give it saucy, yet respectful and sensitive accounts of the departed's life.
