Today it houses such "anatifacts" as President Garfield's vertebrae (complete with his assassin's bullet), the evolution of the microscope, and early medical instruments. The site features numerous online exhibitions on subjects such as ancient Mexican art, basketry, and works of contemporary artists. Its Web site provides an artful taste of the museum's collection, featuring online versions of current exhibitions, a calendar of events, an overview of the museum's Textile Learning Center, and annotated links.
