Websites presented in alphabetical order Department of Transportation Library: Online Digital Special Collections This site provides the full text of documents "of interest to Department of Transportation (DOT) researchers and the transportation community at large." Includes a varied selection of material such as civil aeronautics manuals from the 1950s, investigations of aircraft accidents (1934-1965), railroad investigation reports (1911-1994), materials from conferences on street and highway safety from the 1920s and 1930s, and U.S. Coast Guard circulars back to the 1960s. Features reports in areas of security and counterterrorism, transportation finance, land use and environment, passenger rail, and labor issues.
