Brooklyn Museum: Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art view detail comment email this

This center, opened in March 2007, "is an exhibition and education facility dedicated to feminist art." The centerpiece of the space is a "gallery devoted to 'The Dinner Party' (1974-9) by Judy Chicago; [and] a biographical gallery to present exhibitions highlighting the women represented in 'The Dinner Party.'" The site features images of items from permanent and temporary exhibits. Note: The site asks that the "Feminist Art Base" not be viewed by those under 18.

An easy-to-navigate exhibit within the National Gallery of Art's site, this teaching resource was adapted from an interactive program produced by the Department of Education Resources and is one of several excellent online teaching programs.
