The Deepsky Atlas , containing monthly sky charts, is "the product of a long term effort to provide a good online atlas of the heavens, combined with photographs of significant objects, and their descriptions." Included is an alphabetical list of constellations. Each has an object description, the myth associated with it, a map of its location in the sky, and images. Listings of Messier's, Caldwell's, Bennett's, and additional objects, are available.

A guide to the 110 objects, nebulae, star clusters, and galaxies, recognized as the standard Messier catalog. French astronomer Charles Messier (1730-1817) identified "diffuse objects that were difficult to distinguish from comets through the telescopes of the day." His catalog "was one of the first major milestones in the history of the discovery of Deep Sky objects." Images and descriptions are included as well as constellation images that include Messier objects.
