This nonprofit organization provides publications, technical assistance, and research to projects aiming "to create and sustain public places that build communities." Initiatives and completed projects for urban parks and markets, transportation, and livable communities are all described, as are the organization's principles. They conduct training workshops for designers and planners of public buildings, sell books and other materials on public spaces, and provide links to other related resources.
