 This Board "works to ensure the survival, conservation and increased public availability of America's film heritage." The site includes the National Film Registry, documents related to film preservation research, and the directory "Public Motion Picture Research Centers and Film Archives." The NFPF is "the nonprofit organization created by the U.S. Congress to help save America's film heritage." The organization awards grants and funds cooperative projects. Browse lists of film archives throughout the United States and the hundreds of films the NFPF has saved.
