Information on selected megalithic sites in several European countries. For each country, a list of available stone circles, dolmens, standing stones, cairns, barrows, and hillforts is provided. Each site is described with locations, sizes, and photos. Greatest depth is England, followed by Scotland and Ireland. France, Italy, and Wales are also included. Several QuickTime Virtual Reality panoramas are available. The annotated Archæo Links lead to both general archaeological and other megalithic Web resources.

It will remove the sights and sounds of the roads and traffic from the area near the Stones [and] improve the landscape." Features background information about the monument and the project, project plans, audio reports and interviews, and documents. A collaborative project of several British agencies and organizations.
