 This Toronto museum "celebrates the style and function of footwear" from ancient times to the present. The site features brief illustrated essays on footwear with sections on North American Indians, the circumpolar region, and the rest of the world; a history of Western shoe fashions; and footwear of famous people. This museum is "home to a collection of 35,000 artifacts spanning 400 years." The site provides images of some collection highlights, and a virtual tour of the "Milestones and Memories" exhibit, which features clothing from the life of a fictional woman from rural Manitoba.
