This center "available to students, researchers, and media artists [was established] for the realization of music and multimedia works" involving computers. The site features downloadable software developed by CREATE. The software includes "MODE," a general-purpose music description and composition system, and "Cloud Generator," which "synthesizes granular sounds in units called 'clouds.'"
