The sugar glider (Petaurus breviceps) is an appealing little Australian marsupial that can glide long distances through the air. This Web site has links to their care, breeders, veterinarians, and information about them as both pets and wild animals. While they are gaining popularity as pets, they are not legal pets in most of the United States, including California.
