While there is no original content on the site, the variety and wide range of material makes this an excellent find for those of us enamored of the written word.

This Web-only bi-monthly magazine presents original short fiction, poetry, essays, and book and film reviews from established authors (Douglas Coupland, Pinckney Benedict, Scott Heim, Laura Hird, and others) and "new kids on the Net" (such as William Cuthbertson, Aimee Houser, and Victor Saunders). Past issues (from the beginning in 1997) are browsable by author and literary type. Most of the material is available in English and Spanish (Castellano); some is translated into Catalan and/or French.

The site features a database that, when finished, will provide bibliographic records for over 2,500 post-1945 English-language "little magazines" as well as indexing for prominent British publications. The database is also a U.K. union catalog, giving location and holdings information for these important and often overlooked publications.
