This index of twenty journals "of mainly Canadian Native content" is searchable by author, title, subject, or keyword. The results of a search are displayed as basic citations (i.e., no abstracts or text of the article). There is a page for each journal covered to show which issues are indexed and subscription, publication, and contact information.

This database, released in June 2007, provides information about 18,000 journals surveyed from about 30 major databases and covering a broad range of academic disciplines. Its primary purpose is "to provide an aid for the researcher in the selection of journals for publication." It looks at the scope, quality, availability, and other factors. These are further subdivided into subcategories. Articles are abstracted and links are provided to the full text. The site is also searchable by keyword; My Account explains the mark and save function. Some article abstracts also provide a link to similar articles and articles go back about a year.
