Websites presented in alphabetical order Muslim Consumer Group This nonprofit organization was founded "as an educational organization for Muslims about Halal food products in supermarkets, [and] to provide the service for Halal certification of food products." The site lists which foods and ingredients are Halal (approved), Harem (forbidden), or Mushbooh (suspect) under Islamic dietary laws and describes general criteria for making this determination. Searchable reviews, starting in 1999, submitted by Muslims contain the name, address, telephone number, a brief review, and price range.
