This group of museums contains the national collection of British art from the 16th century to the present, as well as the national collection of international modern art. "There are almost 25,000 works listed on this site, each with its own information page." There are also images of many of them. The works are arranged in an A-Z index by artist. Includes FAQ about holdings, exhibitions, history, Turner Prize, etc.; and an online shop. The former Tate Gallery is now Tate Britain . The other museums of the Tate are Tate Modern (in London), Tate Liverpool , and Tate St. Ives .
