The poll was conducted in honor of the AIA's 150th anniversary in 2007. Features a list of buildings and photos, starting with the Empire State building, and including the White House, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Most of the profiles of the laureates include photographs, brief biographies, acceptance speeches, and essays on their works. The Prize was "established by the Hyatt foundation in 1979 to honor annually a living architect whose built work demonstrates ... talent, vision, and commitment."
