An official agency of the federal government of Brazil, the IBGE publishes social, economic, and regional studies and surveys, including monthly statistics. A catalog of publications includes maps and electronic products as well as detailed reports. Major subjects are geography, industry, agriculture, and employment. This site is in Portuguese, Spanish, and English; while most of the documents are in Portuguese, the English reader will find full text reports and tables in English.
