Information about AmeriCorps and its service programs in which volunteers "tutor and mentor youth, build affordable housing, teach computer skills, clean parks and streams, run after-school programs, and help communities respond to disasters." Volunteers are awarded educational stipends after completing their term of service. The three AmeriCorps programs, State and National, VISTA, and the National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC), are administered by The Corporation for National and Community Service.

These clubs "promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence." The site offers a tour of a typical club, local club locater, a list of notable alumni, and the programs offered. Clubs are open "every day, after school and on weekends, when kids have free time and need positive, productive outlets." Some information also available in Spanish.

Located in Hayward, Calif., youth can drop in to use "state-of-the-art computers and ... technological tools for use on projects in visual arts, video, robotics, and web and graphic design." The site has a gallery of projects and applications for mentors.
