Gifford Pinchot National Forest (Wash.) Gifford Pinchot National Forest 
 Located in southwest Washington State, "the Gifford Pinchot National Forest is one of the oldest National Forests in the United States" and includes the Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument. This site covers the most recent forest news, forest fire updates, forest recreation opportunities, educational resources, volunteer opportunities, and other related forestry links. Details about the activities of this "cooperative scientific and educational venture among the University of Washington College of Forest Resources, the USFS Pacific Northwest Research Station, and the Gifford Pinchot National Forest."
