This site consists of a series of interviews with people who have "ties to both the civil rights movement and to Spokane [Washington state]." Conducted by a reporter for the Spokesman-Review, the interviews were used to create "Through Spokane's Eyes: Moments in Black History," a series of articles published in February 2001.
