Philadelphia Oddities URL: http://www.ushistory.org/oddities/ Description: Descriptions of some of the "little-known, off-beat fascinating gems" in Philadelphia. Items include the University of Pennsylvania's ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer) from 1946, the Wistar brain collection, the giant slide in Smith Playground, and a full gibbet iron.
