This site features sample words from the vocabulary of the Whulshootseed Indian language. Also called Puget Sound Salish or Lushootseed, this "is the traditional language of the Muckleshoot people and was spoken throughout the Puget Sound Basin" of Washington state. Includes sound files, and pictures created by students from the Indian Education class at Olympic Middle School in Auburn, Washington state. From the White River Valley Museum.
