The Changing of the Avant-Garde: Visionary Architectural Drawings from the Howard Gilman Collections

Description:
This exhibition "includes some of the most famous utopian [architectural] drawings of the twentieth century ... and focuses on radical projects from the 1960s and the 1970s." The two major sections of this exhibition are Megastructures and Postmodern Roots. Architects include Peter Eisenman, R. Buckminster Fuller, Michael Graves, John Hejduk, Arata Isozaki, Rem Koolhaas, Paul Rudolph, James Stirling, Venturi and Rauch, and others.
