Mars Global Surveyor Thermal Emission Spectrometer
URL: http://tes.asu.edu/

Description:
This site features information about the thermal emission spectrometer (TES), an instrument used to "measure the thermal infrared energy (heat) emitted from Mars. This technique, called thermal emission spectroscopy, can tell us much about the geology and atmosphere of Mars." Provides background on the TES, data from the spectrometer (aboard the Mars Global Surveyor spacecraft), and a searchable database of spectral data on over 150 minerals.
