Geocaching URL: http://www.geocaching.com/ Description: Treasure hunt for global positioning system (GPS) users. Individuals and organizations set up caches all over the world and share the locations of these caches on the Internet. GPS users can then use the location coordinates to find the caches. Once found, a cache may provide the visitor with a wide variety of rewards. Visitor is asked to leave something in exchange for an item in the cache and to indicate the visit in the logbook included in the cache. Site includes a guide to purchasing a GPS unit.
