Green-e: Renewable Electricity Program

Description:
This site describes the Green-e program, a voluntary certification of electricity companies selling energy comprised of at least 50% "Renewable Electricity Resources." Additionally, participants must increase the renewable components of their products by 5% each year for five years. The site also includes other requirements for certification, as well as reasons why consumers should switch to a "green" company and information on how to do so.
