Van Gogh and Gauguin: The Studio of the South view detail comment email this

A fascinating exhibition from the Art Institute of Chicago on the period Vincent van Gogh and Paul Gauguin worked together. The Overview covers their meeting, events leading to their working together in van Gogh's studio (the Yellow House) in Arles, France, and follows their lives after the brief period of collaboration. The Slide Show contains many images of the paintings these post-impressionists did, along with excerpts from letters they wrote from 1887 to 1889.
