Pelicans in Peril
News about a trend in sick and disoriented California brown pelicans found "along the coastline from Monterey to San Diego. As of Jan 15, 2009, over a [sic] 160 pelicans have come into care at both IBRRC [International Bird Rescue Research Center] centers." Includes background about the pelicans and the possibility of domoic acid poisoning, press releases, and links to news stories.
