Country Reports on Human Rights Practices
The reports address human, labor, and political rights; internal and other conflicts; freedom of the press; freedom of religion; and treatment of women, children, and minority groups. The areas covered are Africa, East Asia and the Pacific, Europe and Eurasia, Near East and North Africa, South Asia, and Western Hemisphere. These documents are submitted to Congress annually by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor.
