Asian Heritage Month
The month of May has been Asian Heritage Month in Canada since 2001. "This acknowledges the long and rich history of Asian Canadians and their contributions to Canada." This site provides a listing of commemorative events, and brief biographical sketches of inspirational Canadians of Asian heritage (such as novelist Michael Ondaatje and geneticist Dr. David T.
