This online exhibition "concentrates on his [Franklin's] achievements as a printer and writer, an inventor and scientist, and, particularly, as a politician and statesman." It features images of "documents, letters, books, broadsides, and cartoons" on topics such as initial support and then opposition to the 1765 British Stamp Act, the Continental Congress, and the Treaty of Paris.
