The Visible Human Project
This National Library of Medicine project consists of digitized images of male and female human cadavers which were scanned using CAT and MRI techniques. The bodies were then frozen and sliced into paper thin sections which were photographed digitally. The animated head-to-toe trip through the male cryosections, from the images and animations sampler, is especially worthwhile.
