Physics and Psychophysics of Music
An exploration of the physics of sound. Included are the frequency of sound waves, sound intensity, tones, scales, and tuning. Also covers the physiology of hearing, the psychophysics of sound, hearing, loudness, and theories of consonance and dissonance. A bibliography is included. Prepared as the course notes for an undergraduate class at the Australian National University.
