If you don't know a Pikachu from a Bellsprout, this is the place to learn. This heavily graphic site presents an encyclopedia of characters ( Pokedex ), television show synopses (in Cartoons ), games (with strategy guides), how to spot counterfeit merchandise (in News ), and a Canadian site in French (much smaller than this English one; oddly, there is no link to a Japanese site). This a commercial site, but the descriptions of the related graphic novels, comics, candy, books, trading cards, and Nintendo and Game Boy products provide a thorough guide to this world.
