This volunteer-driven organization works "to preserve, enhance and promote hiking opportunities in Washington state through collaboration, education, advocacy and trail maintenance." The site includes a searchable trail guide and guides to Northwest flora and fauna. "Northwest Hiker's Notebook" includes trail etiquette, maps, wilderness regulations, fees, and weather advice. "Backcountry Kitchen" consists of user-submitted recipes. Includes searchable trail reports, related links, and volunteer, trail work, and advocacy opportunities.
