Fritz Hirschberger: Sur-Rational Paintings
Fritz Hirschberger's paintings of Germans and Jews during the Nazi era play on the tensions between religious tenets and political gamesmanship. The paintings in this virtual exhibit are accompanied by explanations of their historical bases and verses from contemporaries.
