Wilder Shores: Lady Travelers of the 18th and 19th Centuries
This exhibit "features books and manuscripts, both by and about, women who traveled" to regions such as India, Russia, and Turkey in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is "organized geographically, loosely following the structure of Barbara Hodgson's book, 'No Place for a Lady.'" Includes photos, illustrations, and images of books. From the Charles E.
