Deep Space Network (DSN)
The NASA DSN "is an international network of antennas that supports interplanetary spacecraft missions and radio and radar astronomy observations for the exploration of the solar system and the universe." Its site features descriptions of its science and technology, and illustrated history for this project that celebrated its 50th anniversary in February 2008 by beaming the Beatles song "Across the Universe."
