Orozco at Dartmouth
This Web site is devoted to the frescoes painted by Mexican muralist José Clemente Orozco in the Baker Library, Dartmouth College, New Hampshire. Completed in 1934, the work depicts "American civilization from the Aztecs to the arrival of the white man." The site contains images of the artwork, the text of an interpretation published by Dartmouth upon completion of the project, photographs of Orozco, and a brief bibliography.
