Propaganda
Site inspired by the Institute for Propaganda Analysis (IPA), which, from 1937 to 1942, "was dedicated to promoting the techniques of propaganda analysis among critically-minded citizens." Describes fallacies in logic and common techniques such as name-calling, "glittering generalities," and euphemisms. Includes examples of propaganda from World War I, the John Birch Society, the Maoist International Movement, as well as others from recent history. Also features video clips from several movies and cartoons. From a communication professor at Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas.
