Lunar Prospector
Launched to the moon on Jan 6th, 1998 and crash-landed there on July 31, 1999, Prospector's mission was to find answers to long-standing questions about the moon, its resources, its structure and its origins during its year-long polar orbiting trip. A key answer they looked for is whether there is water in the form of ice on the moon. This NASA site contains everything from text to videos. Included are a timeline of US, Soviet, and Japanese lunar missions since 1959, a partial lunar gazetteer, real-time data, and audio and video clips.
