Musee Mecanique
This museum located at Pier 45 on San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf is "one of the world's largest privately owned collections of mechanically operated musical instruments and antique arcade machines." Click on the faces at the bottom of the pages to learn about machines such as Laffing Sal (an automaton with bright red hair and a loud boisterous laugh), the Naughty Marietta "Cail-o-Scope," and the gypsy fortuneteller.
