Decoding the Past: The Work of Archaeologists
This site provides lesson plans for students in grades K-12 that are designed to "encourage your students to think about how human-made objects and other indicators of human life can enrich our understanding of peoples both past and present." Lesson plans address identifying artifacts, dating soil layers, and using typology to interpret artifacts. Also includes a bibliography and links to resources.
