Terra: The EOS Flagship
The site describes Terra, NASA's Earth Observing System (EOS) flagship satellite, and its mission "to improve understanding of the movements of carbon and energy throughout Earth’s climate system." The site features history of the project and spacecraft, global maps, images and data from Terra, and mission status updates. "Terra is a multi-national, multi-disciplinary mission involving partnerships with the aerospace agencies of Canada and Japan."
